If you are comparing medical website design costs in Australia, the first price you see rarely tells the whole story. A $1,500 build can become a different proposition once copywriting, hosting and later changes are added. A monthly plan can look dearer at first glance, yet include work that a practice would otherwise need to arrange itself.
We reviewed pricing and service pages from 15 medical website agencies serving Australian doctors and private practices. Prices were checked on 2 August 2026. Some agencies publish fixed packages; others quote each project. The offers are not identical, so the comparisons below show both price and the work described as included.

Price versus included medical website services
A cheap setup fee is only useful when the scope matches what the practice needs. The map plots the lowest published upfront price against the number of services clearly listed across the reviewed packages. Agencies that require a quote sit on the left because there is no public entry price to compare.

Which medical website services are included?
The service matrix uses a strict rule. A tick appears only when the agency clearly lists the service in at least one reviewed medical website package. A cross may mean it is optional, separately priced, handled by the practice or simply not stated on the public page.

What the published medical website prices mean
Managed subscription with no setup fee
BusyBeeDoc starts at $200 a month including GST for one or two practitioners, or $400 a month including GST for three or more. There is no setup fee. Custom design, website copy, booking integration, hosting, security, launch SEO and ongoing support are bundled into the plan.
The distinguishing feature is the update model: unlimited text and design edits while the plan is active. During the initial build there are up to two full design-direction revisions. After launch, ordinary text, image, content and design changes remain part of the managed service. New software features or substantial functionality still need separate scoping. See BusyBeeDoc pricing.
Published starting prices below $2,000
Medical Websites Australia lists packages from $995 to $3,795 + GST, plus a mandatory minimum 12-month subscription whose price is not shown on the package page. It uses customised templates with pre-populated content, booking integration and CMS access for practice-managed updates.
Medical Website Solutions publishes broad ranges from $1,000–$2,000 for Starter websites to $4,001–$5,000+ for Pro projects. Its examples list copywriting, hosting and SEO. WordPress training is included so the practice can handle later updates.
CoreWebHub lists a $1,200 Starter, $2,499 Professional and $4,999 Premium package. Booking and content writing begin in Professional, while custom design sits in Premium. The page describes ongoing maintenance and content updates as included but does not publish an allowance or separate fee.
Solaris Marketing lists $1,499 Starter, $2,499 Professional and $8,499+ Enterprise packages. Copywriting, booking integration and launch SEO are included in the published packages. Hosting is separate, from $25 a month, and there is no published managed-edit allowance.
EG Solutions advertises healthcare websites from $1,500 + GST for a solo practitioner, $3,500–$8,000 + GST for a full clinic and $8,000+ for multi-location groups. Its healthcare inclusions cover booking, AHPRA-focused content, SEO, hosting and security. The practice receives CMS training, while ongoing maintenance is available by quote.
Online Medical lists Bronze at $1,699 + GST and Silver at $2,999 + GST. The Bronze package asks the client to supply copy for polishing, and hosting is sold separately. A practice comparing this option should ask for the hosting fee and the cost of writing pages from scratch.
Medical website builds from about $2,500
Medical Web Builders publishes $2,480 + GST for Standard and $5,500 + GST for Premium. Hosting and maintenance cost $92 + GST a month after the first month and include three minor revisions each month. Extra pages during the build are $295 + GST.
Quantum Digital lists a $2,530 setup fee. The $99 a month Technical plan provides an editor for practice-managed changes. The $198 a month Content+ plan includes two hours of content changes each month, minor design updates and a refresh after 24 months.
Practice Boost lists Practice Launch from $3,000+ and Premium SEO from $5,000+. The client supplies content for Practice Launch with assistance from the agency; medical or dental copywriting is included in Premium. Ongoing support is quoted separately.
DigiMed Australia publishes Silver at $5,800 + GST and Gold at $7,900 + GST. Platinum is $1,320 a month + GST for 12 months. Gold and Platinum include professional copywriting, while the packages list 12 months of hosting. No continuing managed-edit allowance is published.
Quote-only and global-delivery options
WebInjection does not publish a price. Its website describes custom design, clinical proofing, secure website management and SEO/GEO work. Ask what ongoing content and layout changes are included in the managed fee.
Spark Interact also quotes each project. Its medical website page lists custom design, AHPRA-aligned content, booking integration, search setup, SSL, hosting and updates. The page does not state an edit allowance.
Doctor Web Design offers custom medical websites, hosting and management by quote. Booking and telehealth links are listed, while SEO is available as a separate package. Public pricing and update limits are not shown.
RankVed markets global delivery to Australian healthcare providers. It lists Basic at $600, Premium at $900 a month and Custom from $1,000–$5,000 a month, but does not identify the currency. Treat those figures as indicative until the agency confirms the currency, tax and contracting entity.
Why doctors need website edits more often than expected
A medical practice website is not a brochure that stays correct for five years. Small operational changes start as soon as the practice does.
- A new doctor needs a profile, qualifications, clinical interests and the correct booking link.
- A specialist adds a consulting location or changes hospital affiliations.
- Fees, cancellation terms or new-patient instructions change.
- Reception needs holiday hours added today and removed next week.
- A booking platform changes its link or embed code.
- Referral instructions need clarification after feedback from GPs.
- A service page needs revised wording after a compliance review.
- A page looks fine on desktop but needs a design adjustment on mobile.
None of these is a new website. Together, they decide whether patients and referrers can trust the one you have.
If a package includes three minor revisions, ask what counts as one revision. If it includes two hours of work, ask whether meetings and emails consume that time. If updates are “included”, ask whether that covers text, images and layout. CMS access is useful only when someone in the practice has time to make and check every change.

Questions to ask before choosing a medical website agency
Send every shortlisted agency the same questions so the quotes are easier to compare:
- Is GST included in every figure?
- Who writes the website copy and handles clinical revisions?
- How many pages and practitioner profiles are included?
- Are hosting, backups, SSL and security included after launch?
- Who owns the domain, content and website files?
- Who makes future text, image and design changes?
- Are edits unlimited, capped by count, capped by time or separately quoted?
- What happens when the practice adds a doctor or location?
- Is online booking integration included?
- What is the first-year cost for the version the practice actually needs?

The BusyBeeDoc medical website offer
BusyBeeDoc is for Australian doctors who want the website handled for them. We design it, write the text, connect the booking pathway, host it and keep it current. Plans start at $200 a month including GST, with no setup fee and unlimited text and design edits while subscribed.
That arrangement is especially useful when a practice is opening, recruiting, adding consulting rooms or refining how it explains referrals and services. Those are the periods when the website changes fastest.
